Through a blend of Japanese history and Western influence, Arata Isozaki has built a career around his boldly distinctive architectural style. Constantly challenging the concepts of space, form and tradition, Isozaki’s work dares us to imagine a merging of cultures where artistic movements and methods bind together in riveting new forms. "ARATA ISOZAKI II: INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS" follows the architect to many of his most famous sites including the Barcelona Olympic Sports Palace, Disney’s Team Building in Orlando, New York’s Palladium nightclub, as well as the newly completed Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

William Tell is summoned into town to plead on the behalf of his jailed son, Christian. On his way he falls into an ice cave and in his unconscious state is given 3 arrows by an ice warrior; one for truth, one deceit and one to gain nothing. When Tell refuses to bow to the evil Governor's hat, the irate Governor declines to release his son unless Tell shoots an apple from Christian's head. Tell aims and fires a perfect shot and insults the Governor for which he himself is jailed along with his son,. The governor attempts to transfer Tell to a special dungeon and on the way Tell escapes, killing the Governor with the deceit arrow. As Tell rushes to free his son, he comes across the coach carrying the fleeing Lady Margaret, evil Mistress of the Governor's court. Realizing that this last arrow would gain him nothing, he spares her life and instead gives her the arrow. She departs in peace. Norfolk, Virginia is sinking. The already insufficient sea wall ends where a public housing project, St. Paul’s, begins. St. Paul’s housing projects' residents are Black people. Norfolk is home to the world’s largest naval base and there is currently no public plan to prevent it from going underwater. Lives, livelihoods, cultures, the largest economy in Virginia, and the Navy are all under existential threat. The local government, in partnership with federal agencies, is investing in what is labeled a “climate resilience” plan to tear down public housing and redevelop what is an historic Black community, the St. Paul’s district. Underwater Projects unpacks this redevelopment plan from the perspective of community leaders and members, government officials, scientists, and climate, and national security experts.
